Robin Ross-Holmes
1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
“Hey Robin, do these jeans make me look fat?” Please, don’t ask me THAT! Once I have answered, don’t think me uncouth. I take the most PRIDE in telling the truth. I’m an Iowa-gal, we’re honestly blunt. I won’t talk behind your back, I’ll tell you to your front.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
My hero is my Mother– in–Law, her name is Jettie Sue. She’s an amputee of the leg but there’s nothing she can’t do. She’s traveled the world and raised two children. She’s extremely motivated. In her 70’s now, she simply is amazing!
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
My most prized possession came from disaster. A mold of two hands made of white plaster. My Mother had Cancer, we knew she would die. Hospice helped make it, of Mother and I. I realize for now we can’t be together through my most prized possession we’ll hold hands forever.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
My nickname is Pinky, I got it in college. Worked at Ed’s Diner while gaining my knowledge. Pink apron, pink socks, pink buttons called “flair”, with a pink ‘45’ tied up in my hair. I’m a Registered Nurse now, just Robin R.N., but on occasion, I’m Pinky again.
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
I cherish the arrival of all four seasons. If you read on, you’ll see my reasons. Fall brought me cancer 9 years ago. So now when Winter arrives, I see MAGICAL snow. Spring brings fresh beauty, amazing life, and new BEGINNINGS. When Summers arrive now, I know I’m still WINNING!
