1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
My mom died April, 2018, she lived in Ct. I knew there could be a chance that if something happened I may not be there with her, I believed I had accepted that possibility. Thankfully, God in his wisdom and mercy knew better. I am most grateful for the blessing and honor I was given of being able to spend the last three days and final moments of my mom’s life with her.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
I contemplated this question back in December and concluded that I needed to learn to live in the moment. I am so goal oriented and future focused that I neglect to enjoy the present, that needed to change. COVID-19 has forced me to cancel events, postpone plans, deal with disappointments, release what I can’t control. Effectively teaching me to slow down, smell the roses, live every day as a gift and enjoy each moment.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
Being happy for someone else. For instance when I see a show like “Undercover Boss†and I catch myself happy crying and smiling wide. I feel so happy for the receiver of the gifts, but what melts my heart the most is how awesome it must feel and what joy to be the giver.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
True selflessness, caring for others comes from caring for yourself first. This may initially seem counterintuitive but when we do what is good for ourselves and practice self love, it allows us to rise to the highest expression of love which is sacrificing for others.
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
To hear my daughter Jordan singing. Jordan is a very talented and accomplished singer, she has received honors and awards. She is constantly, I repeat constantly singing. Many times I’ll wake up during the night, and hear her softly singing, it is the sweetest sound to me at those times because she’s not performing but simply enjoying her gift.
